Jake Mandrik serves as a coach and instructor at Golden Spikes Baseball, bringing local roots and college baseball experience to our developmental programs. After playing competitively in the Sacramento area and earning his degree from Sacramento State, Jake transitioned into coaching—drawn by his passion for guiding young athletes.
At Golden Spikes, Jake works across our age range, specializing in teaching fundamental skills in hitting, fielding, and game awareness. Known among players and parents for his clear communication and thoughtful approach, he focuses on building baseball sense and confidence as the foundation of long-term growth.
Jake’s background in Sacramento-area baseball provides him a deep familiarity with local player development pathways—from youth leagues to high school and college. He integrates that knowledge into every session, helping families navigate competitive opportunities while providing practical, on-field training that complements each player’s stage of readiness.
